Daily Schedule
A Day At St Thomas Preschool
St. Thomas Preschool has three program levels-preschool, pre-kindergarten,
and beginning in the Fall 2010, kindergarten prep. Children are grouped in classes on the basis of age and development level.
Our goal is to insure that the programs are developmentally appropriate
and based on staff/child ratios are limited to ensure program quality. School philosophy
assures that programs are developmentally appropriate and are based on the
needs, potential, and interests of the children. The school curriculum assures
that program goals and objectives are introduced and explored in each classroom
in a manner that challenges each child to his/her next developmental objective.

Pre-Kindergarten
Teaching pre-k presents challenges that are unique in many
ways. As children enter school, they come with varying degrees of readiness, and
their parents come with varied expectations of what will be accomplished in a
year. That is why we have designed a program that is developmentally appropriate
for the students in our classrooms.
