Summer Camp

St. Thomas Preschool offers a Summer Camp Program during the months of June and July.  Children age 3 years old through entering the 2nd grade may attend.  Registration for Summer Camp takes place in early spring.  The same philosophy and developmentally appropriate programming used throughout the school year is also utilized during the Summer Program.

The Camp Program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Children may be enrolled for 3,4,or 5 days.  Summer extended hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Extended care hours are pre-paid according to the schedule given in the Summer Welcome packet.

Summer Camp Registration

 Registration forms will be in the office on Monday March 3rd. In –house registration will begin March 3rd. On March 10th, registration will open to camp alumni and families new to our school. Remember that our summer camp has programs for children preschool age through second grade!    Also remember that you do not need to attend our preschool to enjoy our camp!

Session 1 (6/2 – 6/13): Space and Beyond! 

Up, Up, and away we go to outer space!  Looking at planets has never been so much fun as we explore our spectacular universe.  Stars, spaceships, a trip to the moon and we might see an alien!

  flask Session 2 (6/16 – 6/27): Mad Science:

Are you ready to explore the properties of physical and natural world through tons of hands on experiments?! As scientists, we will fine tune our questioning, observation, investigation, and prediction skills.

 Session 3 (6/30 – 7/11): Are We There Yet??-

Grab your map, we are hitting the road and discovering America!  On this road trip we will discover different states and some of the marvelous landmarks, food, and uniqueness of different states.  –NO CLASS JULY 4

 

Session 4 (7/14 – 7/25): Go for Gold!

We will learn and experience some of the Summer Olympics games as well as create some of our own games!  We will finish this session by holding our own Olympic event!!

 

 

Please Note:  During the summer, we have a shorter day.
