Welcome friends and family to the St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool Website.  We are excited you have chosen to visit us. 

For those families who are interested in attending St. Thomas, we hope you will find the answers to most all of your questions about who we are. 

For those families currently attending St. Thomas, we hope you will find new and useful information about our community and your child’s experience at school.  This is a glimpse of the unique community we call St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool.

Important Dates in May

5-5-08

  Pizza Orders Due Monday, May 12:  All pizza orders are due for the Spring Social. The school will be ordering pizzas from Pizza Hut. A large cheese or pepperoni is $12.00. Pizzas can be charged to your account or make checks payable to St. Thomas Preschool. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED ON OR BEFORE MONDAY, MAY 12TH!

 

Annual Spring Social, Wednesday, May 14:  This is my favorite event of the school year! This event begins at 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Bring grandparents, uncles, aunts:  Everyone is welcome to attend. Enjoy beautiful art work, pizza, ice cream sundaes, and don’t forget about the JUMPING CASTLE!

 Visitation Day, Tuesday, May 20:  Children that will be moving into the Pre-K (room 3 and 4) classrooms in the 2008-2009 school year will visit their new classroom and meet their new teachers. Visiting will begin at 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Children will participate in circle time, explore the classroom centers, and enjoy a snack.

Children that will attend kindergarten next school year or continuing in the preschool program will be supervised by the Room 1 and Room 2 teachers outside on the playground.

 Farewell Celebration, Wednesday, May 21:  Join us at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall for the four-year old preschool graduation. Bring your cameras, video cameras, and tissues for a short ceremony. Each classroom will sing a song and then each student will be called up individually to receive their Preschool Certificate.

 St. Thomas Preschool Surveys:  We want to know how we are doing, where we could improve, and how you are feeling. Please take a few minutes and fill out a survey. The classroom that returns the most surveys will receive an EEGEE’S party on the last day of school. Thank you for your feedback and participation!

 Last Day of School Friday, May 23:  Wow-it is hard to believe that the school year has come to an end. School will be dismissing at 1:00 p.m. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful year!
